Effect and cosmetic use:
Xanthan is a stabilizer and gelling agent for hot and cold stirred emulsions, liquids. It is a skin friendly thickener.
It also has the effect of binding moisture and thereby automatically prevents the skin from losing water.
A double effect.
Processing:
Xanthan is easily soluble in both warm and cold water and is temperature stable. It is also alcohol and salt compatible and pH tolerant. It is ideal for creating stable consistencies with a high water content.
Dosage:
We recommend a dosage of 1%
This corresponds to 1g per 100ml of liquid.
